With Injustice 2 s et to release in 2017, the question of when exactly the sequel to the DC Comics fighting game from NetherRealm Studios will come out is constantly on the minds of fans of the original game.
However, it seems the Xbox website may have unintentionally revealed the release date for the fighting game. According to the website (via Xbox Tavern ), fans should expect Injustice 2 on March 28.
This listing was posted on the rewards section of the website, which interestingly lists Injustice 2 alongside Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Not long after this discovery, however, Ed Boon, president of NetherRealm Studios, came out on Twitter to debunk the March 28 release date rumor for Injustice 2.
FYI: Injustice 2 is not coming out March 28.

Of course, Boon could just be saving face and urging fans to wait for official word, but the Xbox website could be using the March 28 release date for Injustice 2 as a placeholder until an official date is revealed.
