Halo’s Arbiter is joining the fight in Killer Instinct Season 3. This news comes from the Halo Regional World Championships live stream. Developer Iron Galaxy has also released a trailer showing Arbiter in action.
In proper Halo fashion, Arbiter has many different weapons to use while fighting. The most common seems to be the iconic Energy Sword used to cut up enemies. The trailer also shows grenades getting stuck to enemies and the Covenant carbine blasting away.
Seeing Arbiter move around in this trailer makes him look like Deathstroke in Injustice: Gods Among Us. A mix of close-up attacks and ranged weapons furthers the comparison.
Oddly enough, Arbiter doesn’t seem to have Keith David’s voice in this trailer. This could be a budget or scheduling issue, but it’s still weird seeing Arbiter without his awesome voice.
Iron Galaxy has not confirmed a release date for Killer Instinct Season 3, but we do know it is coming some time next month. Also on the roster for Season 3 is Rash from Battletoads in addition to Tusk, Kim Wu and Gargos from Killer Instinct 2.
