The release date of The Last of Us Part 1 is a little more than a week away. However, it feels like the game has been out for several weeks; the remake has been a victim of tons of leaks, more so than Part 2. Almost every couple of days, a new screenshot or footage finds its way to the internet. Yesterday was such a day.
Leaked Prologue
Tahiday, a YouTube Channel from Russia, uploaded the entire prologue of the game. The first 16 minutes of the remake are shot to shot similar to the original game. You can watch the video above but beware. The footage contains spoilers, so if you haven’t played the game and want to enjoy the remake, I highly recommend you don’t watch the above video.
Previous Leaks

Launch Trailer
In other news, Sony has released an official launch trailer for the game. The new trailer continues to show impressive visuals and improvements over the original game. However, it still features very little gameplay footage. Leaked footage also revealed limited improvements to combat and overall gameplay. Visit our previous article for more information.
Release Date and Pre-Order
The Last of Us Part 1 will launch on PlayStation 5 on September 2. A PC port has been confirmed in development. Sony didn’t provide any release date, but the company says it will come out “shortly after” the PS5 release. Another Naughty Dog Game Coming to PC
The Last of Us Part 1 isn’t the only Naughty Dog game making its way to the master race. Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection, which contains the remaster of Uncharted 4 and its standalone expansion, The Lost Legacy, will also arrive on PC this year.
