Season 22 of Legion TD 2 is beginning next week, but before that, a new update has introduced new features in select game modes. These are skill-based matchmaking, visible ratings, and an Event Points (EP) leaderboard.
When you are playing any of the featured game modes, you will be paired up with people who are near your skill level. The developers also want you to have some bragging rights, so they’re making your ratings visible for everyone to see.
The EP leaderboard is there so that you will know what your current rank is. You can gain EP by winning games and you can lose them if you’ve failed to secure a victory.
What are you playing for? Well, if you’ve landed a spot in the top 10, you will gain 10,000 essences. A top 100 finish would give you 5,000 essences and 1,000 essences if you are in the top 1,000. If you’ve accumulated 150 EP at any rank, you will get 500 essences.
In addition, the new season of the Nova Cup will begin on January 11 at 11 a.m. EST. You can sign up here if you are interested.
