True Colors is Out
While waiting for the remastered version, players can now enjoy Life is Strange: True Colors. This game was released early this month and is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It’s also available on next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
This time around the story is focused on a young Asian American named Alex Chen. After years of being away, she finally reunites with her brother Gabe. However, Gabe suddenly dies due to a mysterious accident and it’s up to Alex to investigate and find out the truth. Helping her along are her empathic powers.
An update for the game has recently been released which addresses some of the early issues encountered. You can read more about it here.
There are also other ways to have fun without actually playing the game. For example, everyone can enjoy the Life is Strange: True Colors soundtrack. It has 12 tracks all composed and performed by Australian folk and indie pop group Angus & Julia Stone.
Players can also enjoy the game by just watching others play it. Twitch released the Crowd Choice Extension that allows streamers to involve their fans and viewers. “Suggestions,” for example, has streamers look at what viewers suggested and make a decision. “Full Democracy,” on the other hand, has viewers take full control.
