The official release of Life is Strange: True Colors is still a couple of weeks away. For those who can’t wait, listen to the official soundtrack first. Titled "Life is Strange," it has 12 tracks composed and performed by Angus & Julia Stone.
For those not familiar, Angus & Julia Stone is a brother and sister folk and indie pop group from Australia. Their first album was “A Book Like This” released in 2007.
Considering what Life is Strange: True Colors has to offer, the Australian artists focused on themes like the complexity of love between siblings, families, and communities. You can listen to the songs on the soundtrack through Spotify.
In the game, players take on the role of a young Asian-American named Alex Chen. She goes to the mountain town of Haven Springs to reunite with her long-lost brother Gabe. It is actually Gabe who encouraged her to return.
Aside from reconnecting with her brother, Alex continues to deal with what she believes is a “curse,” which is actually the psychic power of Empathy. This is a supernatural ability that lets her experience, absorb, and even influence the strong emotions of others. One day her brother gets killed in a mysterious accident forcing her to accept her power to uncover the secrets and learn the truth.
