The first post-launch patch for Mafia 3 has already been released. Patch 1.01 is coming to PC players and allows more options for how the game performs.
In a blog post on the Mafia 3 website, developer Hangar 13 mentions the new patch allows PC players to switch between 30, 60 and unlimited frames-per-second. The patch is said to include “other improvements for PC,” but no patch notes have been released at this time.
To change your framerate, download the update and go to the display menu while in-game. From here, you’ll now have the option to change framerate settings. It should be noted that downloading this update will reset keyboard control layouts back to the default setting. If you’ve made any custom changes to the controls, you’ll have to re-enter them.
As for other information on Mafia 3, our early impressions say that the game is definitely worth checking out if you are interested. A full review will be coming to iDigitalTimes soon. We also have a quick guide on how to change Lincoln’s clothes, if you’re into that sort of thing.
Mafia 3 is now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
So what do you think? Are you happy to see this patch come so quickly for PC players? What else would you like to see get patched in Mafia 3? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
