The remastered version of the original Mass Effect trilogy, Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, is only a couple of months away. The upcoming version launches for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on May 14. Developers of the game, BioWare, released the official reveal trailer yesterday that showed the new visuals.
The remaster is currently available on Steam for preorder. The official Steam page also revealed the system requirements for the version, and they are quite reasonable for the most part. Windows 10 64-bit version is necessary, which means you won’t be able to run the game using an older OS.
For minimum settings, you will need either an Intel Core i5 3570 or AMD FX-8350 paired with NVIDIA GTX 760 or AMD Radeon 7970. Your rig must also have at least 8 GB of RAM. Because the game edition is a compilation of three titles, your machine must have 120 GB of free space. Of course, the required space will be lessened if you only install one or two games.
Recommended requirements are a little high. In the CPU department, you will need either an Intel Core i7-7700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X. For GPU, an NVIDIA GTX 1070 or Radeon Vega 56 should be enough. RAM requirement is also increased to 16 GB.
