The Monster Hunter franchise has seen a huge boon in the past few years with the last two Nintendo 3DS games, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and Monster Hunter Generations, selling well in the West and in Japan.
And with new Monster Hunter titles incoming, like Monster Hunter Stories, Nintendo has announced a new Nintendo Direct dedicated to the franchise.
On Oct. 27 starting at 7 a.m. EDT, Nintendo and Capcom will bring the latest news from Monster Hunter to the fans. What fans should expect is more footage and information on the aforementioned Monster Hunter Stories game, as well as a possible new title in the works.
The Nintendo Direct will be broadcast on the Nintendo Japan site as well as its YouTube channel.
Whether the Monster Hunter Nintendo Direct will be broadcast in English is not yet known, but it does seem unlikely. With franchise-specific Nintendo Directs like Super Smash Bros. and Pokémon , the announcement of the Direct came simultaneous to all regions, however, that hasn’t been the case with Monster Hunter .
If that changes, we will certainly update with details.
We will update when the Direct goes live. In the meantime, let us know what you hope is announced from the Monster Hunter Nintendo Direct? Let us know in the comments section below.
