In a surprising move, Capcom announced that its MMO, Monster Hunter Frontier , will be coming to PS4 this November in Japan.
According to DualShockers , the PS4 version will launch in Japan on Nov. 22, while the current Monster Hunter G platforms (PC, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox 360 and Wii U) will get the update to the Z version on Nov. 9.

For those unaware, Monster Hunter Frontier was launched on PC back in 2007 and allowed players to go online with friends in an RPG that takes place in the Monster Hunter world.
Monster Hunter Frontier was ported to Xbox 360 in 2010 but was never released in the West.
Similar to other MMORPGs, Monster Hunter Frontier has had numerous physical releases that included past updates up to that point.
Those outside of Japan know the Monster Hunter series from the numerous handheld games including the most recent Monster Hunter Generations, which topped the software charts in the month of July for all consoles.
There is currently no Western release date for Monster Hunter Frontier Z but we will update as soon as we learn more.
