Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is coming to PC and Nintendo Switch on July 9. It is a sequel to the original Monster Hunter Stories released back in 2016 and a spinoff of the Monster Hunter franchise. It is already available on Steam for preorders with two different editions.
Different Editions
The Standard Edition only comes with the base game and will set you back $59.99. The Deluxe Edition, on the other hand, will give you the base game along with several goodies but costs $71.23 (with the 5% discount).
Deluxe Kit contains:
- Ena's Outfit: Kuan Coat
- Rider's Layered Armor: Razewing Armor Alpha ＆ Beta
- Rider's Hairstyle: Spiky Nergal
- Navirou's Outfits: Nergigante and Pukei-Pukei Costumes
- Sticker Sets: Adventure Buddies 2 & 3
Preorder Bonus
That’s not all though as anyone who preorders the game will also be given the Kamura Maiden Outfit for Ena. Keep in mind that the outfit might not be available at launch. It may release at a later date, however, you will get it once it’s available.
PC System Requirements
The Steam page revealed the official PC system requirements of the game, and thankfully, they are low. If you've upgraded your PC in the last eight years, then you should be good. You can read the requirements in great detail below:

- Processor: Intel Core i5-3470 3.20 GHz, equivalent AMD processor or better
- Memory: 4 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 with 2 GB of VRAM
- DirectX: Version 11
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 28 GB available space
- Sound Card: DirectSound compatible (must support DirectX 9.0c or higher)
- Additional Notes: This game is expected to run at 1080p at 30 FPS. If you don't have enough performance to run the game at your selected graphic quality, you must go to Options > Graphics and decrease the resolution or adjust the quality setting. An internet connection is required for product activation.
