Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden will release on Nintendo Switch this July along with its expansion, ‘Seed of Evil’. Are you hyped and ready for it?
Funcom and The Bearded Ladies gave out this important announcement during the Epic Games’ GDC 2019 keynote. The official Twitter account of the game also said in a tweet, “The expansion to Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden has been revealed. It's called Seed of Evil and will expand the original game in a multitude of ways.” This DLC will be available in all platforms on the same day of its release for Nintendo Switch on July 30.
Before playing the DLC ‘Seed of Evil’ make sure you’ve finished the main story, because the DLC starts off right where the main story ended. Players will be given a chance to enjoy additional gameplay, new locations to roam, broader gameplay options, and even a new character.
In the new DLC, The Ark is threatened by a new enemy that has the ability to manipulate plants. The Stalkers are now given the task to identify and defeat this enemy and save the Ark.
As for the new features and content included in this upcoming DLC, you will find new maps, face new foes, have better mutations, acquire new gear, and fight a merciless opponent.
You also have access to a new playable mutant moose named Big Khan. He has been a Stalker for a very long time, roaming around the Zone by himself. He uses his size and strength to his advantage, which makes him capable of dealing large amounts of damage to enemies. He can deal with a huge number of enemies with his mutations ‘Ground Pound’ and ‘Flame Puke’.
You will also be able to improve mutations of other characters. For example, Bormin’s ‘Hog Rush’ can be turned into a ‘Bear Smash’ and Dux’ ‘Moth Wings’ can be leveled up to ‘Wings of the Sniper’. Your team is tasked to deal with the arising threat that surrounds the Ark. You also need to reclaim the territories you’ve lost to Zone Ghouls and Polis Bots.
You can pick up the whole game bundle of Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden for $40. The Nintendo Switch Version and the DLC, ‘Seed of Evil’ will be coming on July 30, so let’s all stay tuned until then.
