Season 4 of My Hero Ultra Rumble is now live and there's a lot to be happy about. For starters, All For One is now a playable character. It's going to be exciting to finally see All Might's sworn enemy in the game. After all, he'll be bringing with him a collection of quirks stolen from past enemies. There's no question that he'll be a strong ally while at the same time a tough challenge for enemies in the arena.
Season 4 also introduces two new obtainable Quirk Skill Sets from Tomura Shigaraki and Katsuki Bakugo. For Shigaraki, it's the Catastrophe Quirk Skill Set. It comes with skills that specialize in area denial and spread decay across enemy teams. While Shigaraki's Quirk Skill Set is now available, Bakugo's is set to arrive sometime later.
Season 4 also sees new Plus Ultra Rare costumes for Mt. Lady and Cementoss. Meanwhile, players can now have Deku show of his iconic Dark outfit known as "Costume ε." There's also a new pro license that's sure to shake up their matches especially for this season. Players can also look forward to earning in-game rewards through Drop, Mission, and Battle Events. Rewards include the likes of costumes and voice lines, among others.
In My Hero Ultra Rumble, players get to choose to be a Hero or Villain. They then join a three-member team and fight against seven other teams on large citywide maps. Indeed, they players get to fight in a Battle Royale where 24 players that's spread across 8 teams duke it out. The goal is, of course, to defeat the other 7 teams to become the last ones standing.
Characters include Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, All Might, Tomura Shigaraki, and Himiko Toga, to name a few. Players get to utilize their superhuman abilities known as Quirks to attack enemies or support and cooperate with their teammates to survive fights. Players need to make the most of Quirks to fight. They can take on the role of assault, support or disruption character in battle. It's for players to make the most of their strengths while making sure to compensate for the weakness of teammates. The strengths of each character are completely different depending on his or her "Quirk."
My Hero Ultra Rumble is available free for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
