NBA 2K17 has already been updated to reflect the big roster changes of yesterday’s trade deadline. While there were few true stunners during the proceedings, the official patch notes on Operation Sports reveal everything gamers need to know.
Here’s the full list of what’s changed.
- DeMarcus Cousins to the New Orleans Pelicans
- P.J. Tucker to the Toronto Raptors
- Mike Scott to the Phoenix Suns
- Roy Hibbert to the Denver Nuggets
- Taj Gibson to the Oklahoma City Thunder
- Doug McDermott to the Oklahoma City Thunder
- K.J. McDaniels to the Brooklyn Nets
- Nerlens Noel to the Dallas Mavericks
- Bojan Bogdanovic to the Washington Wizards
- Lou Williams to the Houston Rockets
- Serge Ibaka to the Toronto Raptors
- Terrence Ross to the Orlando Magic
- Cameron Payne to the Chicago Bulls
In terms of the biggest moves we see on this list, the Pelicans are absolute winners with Cousins on their roster. Right now he’s a 93 player overall, and he’s averaging 25-plus points and 10 rebounds per game. That’s going to make his stats potentially run even higher later on. The Raptors’ pickup of Ibaka isn’t too bad either.
Beyond that, you’re looking at lots of folks hovering in the mid to low 70s that will only offer situational advantages or even possible trade bait within your personal club. The Pelicans got the only massive jolt, even though speculation prior to the deadline suggested otherwise.
NBA 2K17 is available now on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. These patch notes should be applicable to all major platforms where the game is available. While planned, this adjustment comes after several gameplay tweaks meant to stabilize performance.
