An accidental tweet from EA UK revealed some interesting details regarding a new vehicle that will be added to Need For Speed very soon: a hot rod '32 Ford! The photo in EA UK's Twitter post featured the front of the old Deuce, complete with a moon tank, classic white wall tires, chopped roof, and chrome pipes.
The tweet was quickly removed but not before the screenshot was shared in the Need For Speed sub-reddit. The post spurred a lot of buzz and ultimately pressured Ghost Games Community & Content Lead Ben Walke to respond.
"Going to wait until there's official info before I start talking but yes, it's clear something went live before it was supposed to," said Walke. "These things happen from time to time on the internet. Let's hold our hands up and just admit it. We'll move on, learn from what happened and we'll all joke about it in a few days time.
"In short, yes an update is coming. No, I don't have more details for you yet. No, that car is not the only thing in it," Walke continued. "I'd recommend reserving judgement until you get the full info, is easy to base an opinion on a solitary screenshot, you may be pleasantly surprised."
