We got a pretty creepy teaser for Dark Star Thresh, and now we know there’s going to be another dark master of the Void. On the League of Legends Instagram, Riot just unveiled a short teaser for Dark Star Varus. The title of it is: “PBE Preview: Dark Star Varus,” so now we know that either later today or tomorrow the Dark Star skins will be going live on the PBE.
The Instagram video shows Dark Star Varus’ recall, which has him getting sucked into a black hole, like the one in the Thresh video. Varus has a four-pronged bow, a blue ponytail and looks a lot like Soul Reaver Draven. He will also be getting brand new VFX, we can see his Q in the brief video as well. His bow expands into a claw when shooting his big arrow, making this skin unique from every other one Varus has.
I’m really excited for these skins to show up on the PBE. They seem really unique; Thresh has tentacles on his head and Varus is a vortex. They fit well with Aurelion Sol, together you can make a pretty impressive space themed team. Throw in an AstroNautilus and an Astronaut Teemo and you’ve got a full team composition for walking on the moon.
