Multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) games have always been popular among gamers who enjoy strategy and playing with others. A new MOBA has been recently released on Steam, and the good news is it's a free-to-play game.

New on Steam: Predecessor
Predecessor was released on August 20, 2024. It is a free-to-play MOBA developed and published by Omeda Studios.
This player-versus-player shooter game offers more than 35 heroes to choose from. Each hero has unique capabilities that can help you and your team win battles.
In this game, you'll have to destroy the opposing team's core while simultaneously protecting your own. As mentioned, you will work with up to four allies in order to accomplish objects in this game.

Early Steam Reviews
Predecessor, as of press time, has "Mostly Positive" user reviews on Steam.
"I am a big fan of this game," a Steam user named Arcane said in a review.
"I have always loved League of Legends, but disliked Smite heavily," Arcane explained. "This game combines aspect of both games whilst maintain its own uniqueness."
"I mean, the game is a decent game when it comes to gameplay," user RivkaLive says in a separate Steam review. "The big issue I have with this game is that there isn't much incentive to keep playing besides the want to learn all the items and characters and how they can absolutely obliterate the opponents."
