Cleaning sims have grown popularity in recent years and today's featured game falls under that genre. But what you'll have to clean in these games are no ordinary places. They're crime scenes, and you're hired to clean them by criminals.
Yes, you read that right. You'll be working for the bad people in this game.
What's new on Steam? It's none other than Crime Scene Cleaner.
New on Steam: Crime Scene Cleaner
Crime Scene Cleaner was released on Steam on August 14, 2024. It is a first-person simulation game developed by President Studio. President Studio likewise published the game alongside PlayWay S.A.
In this game, you take on the role of a cleaner who needs money to pay for his daughter's hospital bills. In order to keep earning, you decide to take on both small and big criminals as clients.
Crime Scene Cleaner requires you to clean up crime scenes, and by cleaning up, we mean disposing bodies and getting rid of blood and foul odor. You'll have to do all of this within a certain timeframe and with the police breathing down your neck.
System Requirements
The following are the minimum system requirements in order to play the game:
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10/11
- Processor: i5-7500 or similar
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: GTX 1060
- Storage: 35 GB available space
- Additional Notes: Integrated Graphic Cards are not supported. Intel ARC series may not be supported yet.

Early Steam Reviews
As of press time, Crime Scene Cleaner has "Overwhelmingly Positive" reviews on Steam.
"After getting all achievements in just under 14 hours, I can confidently say that Crime Scene Cleaner is one of my all-time favorite simulator games," user FrostyWheels said in a Steam review. "Each level is expertly created, with substantial environmental storytelling and unique quirks to manage."
"Lots of fun, with some similarities to Viscera Cleanup Detail," user mithraeum said in a separate review. "Mechanically easy to come to grips with, but some difficult puzzles to solve and very interesting levels to visit."
"Fortunately, while the subject is pretty grim, it's not nearly as dark as it could be, so somebody put a lot of thinking into this," mithraeum added.
