Nintendo put out an announcement trailer earlier today celebrating Mario’s 35th anniversary by introducing Super Mario 3D All-Stars. Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy are the games that are included in the All-Stars bundle.
Nintendo expressed that all the games will have HD visuals and optimized gameplay to match the current generation of games. Super Mario 3D All-Stars will also come out with an in-game music player mode which has music from all three of the included games. The collection is listed for $60.
“Three Mario adventures in one collection jump on to #NintendoSwitch! With HD visuals, take Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy on the go in #SuperMario3DAllStars. Arriving 9/18 as a limited release until the end of March 2021,” Nintendo of America tweeted.
The Nintendo presentation also revealed a bunch of other Mario games, including Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, and Game & Watch: Super Mario.
Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will also get access to a Mario-themed battle royale game. Super Mario Bros. 35 will be played out in a 2D arena with a total of 35 players. The objective is to play through the original Super Mario Bros. and be the last player standing. Super Mario Bros. 35 will be available from October 1 until March 2021.
The Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection will launch on September 18 as a limited time offer. The collection will only be available until the end of March 2021.
