In No Man’s Sky, trading will be of utmost importance if you want to be able to upgrade your gear and abilities. The latest trailer for the massive space game shows off trading, what goods you can collect to trade, and some upgrades available to trade for.
As we can see in the video above, players trade the resources they have collected while exploring planets. These resources include things from iron and other minerals, to plants and more. Players are seen collecting resources both on a planet’s surface as well as in space, when blasting apart asteroids.
Once enough resources are gathered, players can go to more centralized areas to make trades. These trades are where upgrades to weapons, expansions to your ship and more can be bought.
Other recent trailers from No Man’s Sky have focused on exploration and combat. There will be at least one more trailer released before No Man’s Sky launches, focusing on the game’s survival mechanics.
No Man’s Sky releases on Aug. 8 for PS4 and PC.
