The dungeon role-playing games Omega Labyrinth Life and Labyrinth Life will release in the west, as announced by D3 Publisher.
Omega Labyrinth Life and Labyrinth Life are both, at their core, RPGs with dungeon crawler mechanics. The story begins at Belles Fleurs Academy, a specious school with a beautiful floral garden that holds a sacred flower of legend known as “Flora”, which is known to radiate a mysterious power that is rumored to give all the flowers in the garden their everlasting bloom effect. However, this bloom effect withers away when maiden Hinata Akatsuki transfers to the Academy. Now, Hinata along with a new cast of beautiful maidens must go off on an adventure to explore a sacred dungeon in the hopes of uncovering the mystery behind the garden’s withering, restore it to its former glory, and get back to their own lives so that they can pursue their dreams at Belles Fleurs Academy.
Gameplay mechanics involve tactical turn-based combat, wherein players need to control and strategize how they will utilize their maidens. The dungeons that players traverse are procedurally generated, meaning randomized loots, enemies, challenges, and unique play throughs.
Combat revolves around lewd and sexual mechanics that the maidens can use at their disposal to defeat foes. These can be a bit explicit, and if you’re interested in learning more you can check it out at your own risk here (NSFW).
Developed by Matrix Software, Omega Labyrinth Life and Labyrinth Life are roguelike dungeon role-playing games that feature similar characters, characters skills, items, monsters, story plot, dungeon layout, and difficulty settings, but the way these two games differ is through the way they showcase their lewd and sexual content. These differences and comparisons are found between the two console versions of the game and are listed down on the game’s website in Japanese.
Omega Labyrinth Life will be released for the Nintendo Switch via the eShop and Labyrinth Life will see a PlayStation 4 release via the PlayStation Store. Physical editions for the two consoles will be available in Southeast Asia through H2 Interactive in both Standard and Limited Editions.
