In a statement, Obsidian Entertainment Co-Game Director Leonard Boyarsky revealed that the Spacer’s Choice Edition is pretty much the complete way to experience The Outer Worlds. Co-Game director Tim Cain added that it comes with improved graphics and performance, along with an increased level cap as well.
The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition is available as a digital download for $59.99. However, right now, it's being offered at a special introductory price of $47.99 until March 21. The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition includes the base game and the Murder on Eridanos and Peril on Gorgon DLCs. Those who already have the game on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One can upgrade to the Spacer's Choice Edition for $9.99.
The Outer Worlds was released in 2019 and initially made available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. A version for Nintendo Switch was later launched in 2020. The game is set in an alternate future where U.S. President William McKinley was not assassinated. Because of this, the great business trusts of the period were never broken which led to a hyper-corporate and class-centric society dominated by megacorporations.
