Overwatch fans who watched the reveal of Overwatch ’s new Eichenwalde map should be delighted to know that Eichenwalde is now playable on the PTR, the Public Test Region server where changes to the game are tested before going live.
In an official blue post on the Battlenet forums, game director Jeff Kaplan wrote :
“Eichenwalde is now available for testing on the PTR. The map has been added to the Quick Play and Competitive rotations. We've also added a Brawl that specifically focuses on Eichenwalde (for those who just want to test the new map).
“Two new skins for Reinhardt will also be available on the PTR for your testing.
“Thank you.”
