The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an expansive game with lots to uncover. It makes sense that you’d need to consult a strategy guide from time to time. The original Breath of the Wild strategy guide from Piggyback was comprehensive, but now there’s a new version of the guide coming out in February that should help fill in some of the blanks found in the old version.
The Expanded Edition Guide to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a gold-toned tome with a majestic watercolor image of Princess Zelda surrounded by flower petals on the cover that should fit beautifully in any collector’s shelf. It’s 512 pages and includes guide content covering everything in the main game in addition to the two Expansion Pass DLC packs The Master Trials and The Champions’ Ballad. In addition to guides for the DLC missions and quests, it comes with an Expansion Pass concept art gallery, chapters for each Expansion Pass, a Reference and Analysis chapter, Maps chapter, and a 4-page index to help figure out where the info you’re looking for is located.
Aside from that, the book will feature a 36-page atlas of Hyrule itself, where you can pinpoint the exact location of the numerous Korok seeds and treasure chests. The regular game walkthrough is included too, with maps and screenshots that help illuminate the best possible way for you to make your way through every single dungeon and quest required to complete your painstaking journey through Hyrule. Every puzzle and riddle you’ll encounter in-game has a solution in the book, too. Basically, anything you could ever need or wonder is covered here.
If you still haven’t made your way through The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and need some assistance figuring things out, this should be an invaluable resource. There’s also absolutely nothing wrong with having an official volume with high-quality art and paper for when it’s just too tiring to look for guides online.
