Sony just revealed the game lineup for the PlayStation Plus subscription service that will be available in December 2024.
The titles that are included for the coming holiday month include the critically acclaimed It Takes Two where players will have to work together as they embark on a fun adventure.
The other two games are Aliens: Dark Descent and Temtem and all three are coming on Dec. 3, 2024.
PlayStation Plus December 2024
PlayStation also wanted to share that they planned to hold some activities this December as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations. These will include Tournaments, free Online Multiplayer Weekend, PlayStation Plus Premium Game Trial, and many more.
The most notable game in the December games catalog is It Takes Two, which was developed by Hazelight Studios. This is a genre-bending platform adventure that requires players to work together. It also supports both couch and online co-op.
When you buy this game, you can invite a friend to play with you for free using Friend's Pass. you will have to work with each other to overcome a variety of gameplay challenges, according to the PlayStation Blog.
Players will take control of married couple Cody and May who were suddenly turned into dolls by a magic spell. They have become trapped inside a fantastical world and are repeatedly challenged with trying to save their failing marriage.
In It Takes Two, you have to master unique and connected character abilities introduced at every level. Players need to be cooperative with each other to progress past various obstacles and experience humorous moments together.
A Variety of Fun Games
On the other hand, Aliens: Dark Descent tasks players with fighting in order to keep their squad alive while facing off against Xenomorphs. This is a real-time combat strategy game where you will have command over a squad of colonial marines, Gematsu said.
You are tasked with stopping the deadly aliens' outbreak on Moon Lethe. Players will lead their soldiers against these monstrosities and various rogue operatives from the insatiable Weyland-Yutani Corporation.
There are also many enemies that have been introduced in this title that are new to the Alien franchise as a whole. You can also infiltrate large open levels while annihilating enemies with the help of your squadmates.
The last game, Temtem, is a creature-collecting MMORPG that was inspired by Nintendo's iconic Pokemon franchise. Some players called it a "bold but incomplete" MMO that features creative ideas that work on improving the monster-catching genre, according to IGN.
