The 20th Anniversary Mythical Pokémon distribution happening all year has been a great way for trainers to receive some of the rarest Pokémon in the game, either through GameStop codes or simply over the internet as a mystery gift.
In May, trainers got a chance to receive the Dark-type Pokémon Darkrai. The only way to obtain this Legendary Pokémon was to visit a local GameStop and pick up a scratch-off card with the code.
Unfortunately, not everyone was able to make it to their local GameStop, but The Pokémon Company is giving those who missed out on the Darkrai distribution another chance.
The official Pokémon website released the code to get Darkrai onto Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire or Pokémon X and Y, which you can see below.

This is the same Darkrai that was distributed via GameStop and comes at Level 100 with the Bad Dreams ability, which deals damage every turn to sleeping Pokémon. Darkrai also comes with Dark Void, Ominous Wind, Nightmare and Feint Attack as its four attacks.
To use the code and download Darkrai, all you have to do is boot up your ORAS or X and Y game and go to the MYSTERY GIFT. Select RECEIVE GIFT and then GET VIA INTERNET. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be given your own special Victini; just be sure you’re in a spot that has a good internet connection.
Once Darkrai is downloaded, just visit any Pokémon Center and talk to the woman who will gift you your Mythical Pokémon.
The Darkrai code is only valid until Oct. 31 so be sure to download your Pokémon before it runs out. Also, if you downloaded the GameStop Darkrai already you can’t use this code to receive another one.
