The Season of Light in Pokémon GO officially starts tomorrow, September 1. Throughout this new season, trainers can adventure and bond with the Legendary Pokémon Cosmog; Season of Light ends December 1.

Inkay Limited Research
While not much has really been revealed yet, Inkay Limited Research is happening this Saturday, September 3 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., local time. In this one, completing Field Research tasks can lead to encounters with Inkay. Meanwhile, those lucky enough get the chance to encounter the Shiny Inkay.

- Poochyena
- Nuzleaf
- Sableye
- Purrloin
By the way, the bonuses for this event are:
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
- An increased chance of encountering Shiny Inkay.
Go Battle League
With the Season of Light arriving tomorrow, that means the start of the new GO Battle League. The new season brings the end-of-season rewards and resets all ranks.
For the new season, there are two GO Battle days and these are:
- GO Battle Day: Guzma
- October 1 from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., local time.
- A GO Battle Day featuring part of the Guzma Avatar Item Set.
- Bonuses
- 4× Stardust from win rewards.
- The maximum number of sets you can play per day is increased from five to 20 - for a total of 100 battles - from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time.
- Active Leagues
- Master League
- Master Premier Classic
- GO Battle Day: Miltank
- November 6 from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., local time.
- A GO Battle Day featuring Miltank, the Milk Cow Pokémon.
- Bonuses
- 4× Stardust from win rewards.
- The maximum number of sets you can play per day will be increased from five to 20 - for a total of 100 battles - from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time.
