After April’s CoroCoro teased the reveal of the Pokémon Sun and Moon covers (and who will be Generation 7 region Legendaries ) not much information regarding the upcoming titles have been released.
Sun and Moon are expected to release during the Holiday season but so far all we know about Gen 7 is, honestly, not much. A new bird Pokémon, you can transfer Pokémon from the Red, Blue and Yellow re-releases.
But no info on the region, the new Pokémon or anything else.
However, that all changes on May 10. Junichi Masuda, the Director of Pokémon , took to Twitter to let fans know that this is the day that you will get information on Sun and Moon.
New #PokemonSunMoon information will be revealed on May 10th, around 21:00 JST! Stay tuned everybody!

For those wondering, 21:00 JST is about 8am EST so set your alarms. Besides his tweet, Masuda took to his blog to confirm the date and time, and to apologize to fans for the long wait for more information.
But what exactly will Masuda reveal? Masuda recently (and jokingly) revealed that Sun and Moon will have more than 10 new Pokémon . Perhaps we’ll get the starters of the new region and information on the region.
From the first concept images, it looks like Sun and Moon will take place in a “tropical” area but with a lot left in the Kalos region perhaps it’ll be based on another European country. With Masuda’s trip to Spain last year, it could possibly be based on that.
