Approximately two minutes of new gameplay footage can be seen in this week’s Prey For The Gods trailer, which debuted on Wednesday, including creatures and locations not shown in the game’s first promotional video. Fans of the upcoming action survival game also get their first glimpse of an enormous new boss, which we’ll presumably be tasked with defeating, that should feel a bit familiar with anyone who played Shadow of the Colossus . And an accompanying blog post , on the US PlayStation Blog, from No Matter Studios co-founder Brian Parnell explains how SotC (and other games) inspired development of Prey For The Gods.

The decision to publish new media was undoubtedly tied to the approaching end of the Prey For The Gods Kickstarter campaign . The project already met its goal, eclipsing its $300K request by more than $80,000 (and counting), but nearly a dozen stretch goals are still on the table for the last two days of the campaign. Many seem unlikely, like the $1 million survivor mode, but Prey For The Gods supports still have a chance to reach some of the project’s less-expensive goals, like an official Mac port ($400K) or an orchestral score ($450K) for the game.
