The PlayStation Plus free games lineup for July 2016 has been announced by Sony, days before we reach the seventh month of the year, and there’s at least one surprisingly high-profile game on the list of freebies being handed out in a few days.
The biggest entries on July’s PlayStation Plus freebies list, without a doubt, are Paragon and Saints Row: Gat out of Hell . The former is technically still in early access, despite making its retail debut earlier this month, while the latter never found the same size audience enjoyed that flocked to the rest of the Saints Row franchise. Both should see massive new influxes of support, though, once they’re released to the PlayStation Plus community (free of charge) in July. Those who download Paragon also get a free Starter pack, featuring three Master Challenges -- tasks completed to unlock new deck slots, emotes, skins and more -- for Gadget, Murdock and Rampage.
PS4 owners can also look forward to downloading Furi , a new boss rush game from The Game Bakers, when the game debuts on July 5. It may not have the same recognition as the first two games we mentioned but Furi looks like an exceptional addition to any PlayStation Plus library; particularly if you enjoy the challenging boss battles from Titan Souls or Hyper Light Drifter .
