The release date for the PSVR exclusive Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin has been revealed. Developer Double Fine’s first foray into VR gaming will be available to play starting on Nov. 21.
For those who may have missed it, Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin is a standalone VR game that will serve as a bridge between the events of Psychonauts and the upcoming Psychonauts 2.
To make use of the VR capabilities of the PSVR, players will control Raz in first-person, and will be able to tap into his powerful psychic abilities to solve puzzles and explore the environment. Expect Double Fine’s trademark humor and interesting characters like Lili, Sasha and Coach Oleander along for the ride as well.
If interested, players can also buy the original Psychonauts on PS4 as a PS2 Classic for $9.99. Psychonauts 2 is still in development, and is planned for a 2018 release on consoles and PC.
