Rainbow Six Siege’s Colorful tournament just concluded its fifth playday for loser bracket matches. The tournament has a prize pool of $1,500, which is a pretty high amount for the South Asia competitive scene. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all the matches will be held online instead of the more traditional LAN environment. The prize pool of the tournament will be split and awarded to the top two teams who will compete in the finals. You can find the prize pool details here.
The ongoing Colorful tournament is a double-elimination based competition, where teams will have to win every match or drop down to the loser bracket. You can watch live streams of every game on the Colorful Bangladesh Facebook page.
The fifth playday had a really exciting match between Deimos Force and Dauntless Esports. The first match was played on Clubhouse, which is a very strategy-heavy map. The match was really fun to watch, as we got to see both the teams just running around and fragging each other out. That said, Deimos was more dominant in terms of gunfights, which allowed them to win the game with a 7-3 scoreline.
The second map was played on Theme Park, which is a defender sided map. This didn’t stop Deimos from winning their attacks. In fact, they were so dominant that Dauntless had to hide in site to actually win rounds. Deimos took their attacking half with a 4-2 score, which is super tough even for coordinated teams. Deimos was able to win Theme Park with a 7-2 scoreline and their next matchup will be against MonkaS from the loser brackets.
