The NA Six Invitational Qualifiers match between Altiora and Rentfree has concluded. The matches were played in a best of three series. Both teams have little experience compared to pro league teams, which made the series exciting.
The first map of the series was Clubhouse. Altioria seemed like they weren't in sync during the first round, as they couldn’t get the Gym wall open with hard breachers. This forced Altioria to walk up the main stairs to execute, which obviously went terrible as the stairs are narrow.
Altioria wasn’t also able to execute a very common SSG roam setup, a bad timing when you are playing for the NA Qualifiers. The mistakes from Altioria allowed Rentfree to take the map with a 7-4 scoreline.
The second map, Oregon, was a frag fest for Altioria. They decided to play operators like Ash and Zofia with good weapons to win the map solely relying on gun skills. And won they did with gun skills, having a 7-5 scoreline on Oregon.
The final map was Coastline. This map is boring because of its frag-heavy setting. However, some of the players got insane kills that made the matches thrilling to watch. Rentfree was leading 5-2 but Altiora did a crazy comeback pushing the match to overtime. Xavier "Eskaa" Avoine from Altiora had a really good game. He displayed the skills to carry his team, which led to 19 kills.
Altiora won the final map with an 8-7 scoreline, and the entire series with 2-1.
