Rainbow Six Siege’s The Esports Club League just concluded their first playday for division three matches. The tournament has a prize pool of $1,800, which is very high for the South Asia competitive scene. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all the matches will be held online instead of the more traditional LAN environment. The prize pool of the tournament will be split and awarded to the top five teams in every division. You can find the prize pool split here.

The ongoing The Esports Club League is a league-based competition, where every team will have to face all their opponents from the same division. After all the matches are played out, every team will have earned points that are determined by the team's wins. The bottom three teams of every division then get demoted to the lower division, or even relegated if you are in division three, which is the lowest division in this league. You can watch live streams of every game on the TEC YouTube page.

The most exciting matchup for the second playday was between Sangfroid Esports and SaW Esports. The match was played on Coastline, which is a very frag-heavy map. The match went all the way to a score of 8-7 with the overtime match point going in favor of SaW. Sangfroid lost momentum in their first half, which eventually led to their defeat. Sangfroid’s entry fragger, ShotFX, had a total of 21 kills throughout the match playing operators such as Zofia and Jager. The rate at which Sangfroid is going, they might get relegated by the end of the season.

Another exciting match to watch was between Staticz Gaming and KL11 Esports. This match was played on Oregon. Oregon is usually avoided in the South Asian region due to the fact that the map is relatively new. The score went 7-4 in the favor of Staticz Gaming, with the team just out-fragging their opponents.
