When Red Dead Redemption 2 first launched on PC, it was only available for purchase from Rockstar Games, the Epic Games Store, and retail stores. Now, the game is available to purchase on Steam. Red Dead Redemption 2 on Steam comes with various graphical and technical enhancements. These enhancements include improved visuals, higher quality lighting effects, better textures, and more.
Along with making the game available on Steam, Red Dead Redemption 2 is also going to include Steam-specific achievements, Steam chat, and Steam broadcast functionality. The Steam version of the game also includes all-new story content for PC. This includes:

- New weapons for story mode

The standard edition of Red Dead Redemption 2 can be picked up for $60. The game also comes in two other editions, which can be purchased on the digital storefront. The $80 special edition includes exclusive story content, gameplay bonuses, the Nuevo Paraiso Gunslinger Outfit, and more. The ultimate edition retails for $100 and features all special content, the Black Chestnut Thoroughbred, and additional online content.
