Red Dead Redemption 2 has received a brand-new update for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Update 1.23 brings general security, stability, and PC-specific fixes. The update addresses a notorious issue that prevented PC players from entering the Single Player or Multiplayer modes after a crash. The update also fixes abnormal changes in the time of day on PC.
Additionally, the update also fixes the repurchasing of the Horned Variant Bow with gold, despite already owning it. The update isn't too big, and comes in at around 200 MB on Steam, 240 MB on Epic Games Store, 1.2 GB on Rockstar Game Launcher and PS4, and 3.2 GB on Xbox One.
After the update, some players have reported that the Collector's saddlebag bug has been fixed, which can once again hold seven outfits. Other players have also reported that legendary animals are spawning more frequently than earlier. However, the update hasn't fixed the Butcher's Table that still cannot be purchased from Wilderness Outfitters.
Red Dead Online has also received an update which adds two new legendary bucks into the wilderness and a hardcore game mode. Just like the previous update, which added two legendary Coyotes to the game, the new update also continues the game's Naturalist theme, which was introduced last month.
