The life simulator and monster raising RPG Re:Legend will be launched for PC via Steam Early Access, as announced by publisher 505 Games and developer Magnus Games.
Re:Legend is set on the magical Vokka Island located in the world of Ethia. You play as a legendary hero, washed up on the shores of Vokka without any recollection of what happened to you in the past. You must revive your hero and find ways to recover from your amnesia and remember your forgotten past. You also need to learn how to survive and thrive through cultivating the land, breeding and catching fish, befriending the island’s local inhabitants, expanding the village, crafting weaponry, and training for combat, among other available activities. By learning how to live again in Vokka, you increase your chances of taming and raising the Magnus, a magical creature that populate the world of Ethia. With the Magnus on your side, you will be able to go from island to island, face more challenges, find even more powerful Magnus, and finally regain your lost memories.
On their Steam page, 505 Games has provided an overview for the game. Re:Legend is a Japanese role-playing game simulator combined with farming games, sim games, and a focus on raising monsters and added multiplayer features. Re:Legend allows its players to create their own hero and customize them to fit their own personal tastes and preferences through a number of customization options. You are also provided with multiple skills that you can practice, such as logging, crafting, combat, and more. You can also socialize with NPCs, which can affect your interactions with them in-game. Your main weapon, the Magnus, is something that you need to pay attention to aside from farming and fishing, as taking good care of them will impact their evolution into much more powerful creatures. Lastly, Re:Legend provides both single player modes and multiplayer modes that allow you to play co-op with up to four friends.
You can now add Re:Legend to your Steam Wishlist. Releases are also planned for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
