The Resident Evil 3: Raccoon Demo was officially announced earlier today by Capcom. The demo is set to arrive on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on March 19. The demo will let you get a taste of what it's like to play as Jill Valentine, as the protagonist teams up with Carlos Oliveira and U.B.C.S. Your objective is to evacuate civilians that are trapped in the crumbling buildings of Raccoon City. There's an interesting twist to this entire demo, whoever completes the demo will see an exclusive Resident Evil 3: Remake cinematic trailer.
To gain access to this exclusive trailer, players will have to hunt for 20 Mr. Charlie statues that are hidden in the given game area of Raccoon City. It is also important to note that the terrifying Nemesis will always be on your back, even when you're hunting for these trophies. To help you stay on track, an on-screen counter will give you the total number of trophies you have acquired.
In addition to the demo, Capcom has also announced a multiplayer open beta for Resident Evil Resistance. The open beta will begin on March 27, allowing players to step into Daniel Fabron's shoes. Daniel serves as one of the game's masterminds. Fabron is known for experimenting with his bioweapons with traps for hostages. On the other hand, players can form groups of up to six survivors. Each one of them has a unique ability and a goal of escaping the experimentation facility before time runs out.
Resident Evil 3 Remake will launch on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on April 3, 2020. From what we have seen so far from the game's trailers and Capcom's interviews, we feel that Resident Evil 3 Remake is certainly going to be a bang. Capcom released Resident Evil 2 Remake in early January last year, which was received warmly by RE fans and it also garnered a healthy amount of critical and commercial success.
