Rick and Morty Season 3 gets its real kickoff this Sunday at 11:00 p.m., when Adult Swim airs the first two episodes of the new season. The first, “The Rickshank Redemption,” already aired April 1. It’s the Szechuan McNugget sauce one. The second, “Rickmancing the Stone,” is new and has something to do with a Road Warrior-esque world. That’s at 11:30. But who amongst us actually has cable? We are the cord-cutters, we are beyond cable and beyond borders and all we want is our stories and we want them now. And it can be done, Rick and Morty can be had this time, without resorting to those ad-choked streaming sites or whatever the savvy pirate prefers in 2017.
Because it sure sounds like Rick and Morty will be streaming live for everybody on Adult Swim’s website. Their Rick and Morty landing page reads “Do Not Watch the Live Stream Sunday at 11:30P ET.”
And there’s this, too, retweeted by the Rick and Morty account:
Perhaps Adult Swim is playing some really literal joke and you shouldn’t watch the live stream, but it sure sounds like we should watch the live stream. Just a guess: “Rickmancing the Stone” will play there.
After all the delays and scrutiny, Adult Swim started offering more and more peeks behind the scenes of Rick and Morty Season 3, including looks into the writing, animation and voice acting. The most recent video talked at length about the new episode, “Rickmancing the Stone”:
Or you could just wait a few hours.
To recap, it’s this Adult Swim live stream, at 11:30, probably.
