Rooster Teeth Productions has revealed details for three of its upcoming animated series, including the return of Red vs Blue for Season 14 and for the uber popular RWBY Season 4 (coming Fall 2016). But alongside the two long-running series, Rooster Teeth has announced two new animated series.
The first new series is actually a spinoff of RWBY called RWBY Chibi and is set to debut in May 2016. In the same vein as Attack on Titan: Junior High, RWBY Chibi will bring fans back to the world of Remnant with our favorite ladies, Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang as they are put in hilarious situations like making cookies.
It’s like the RWBY version of Muppet Babies. Check out the teaser below.
And we come to the second all new animated series from Rooster Teeth called Camp Camp. The Rooster Teeth peeps describe the show as South Park meets Gravity Falls (bold claims) where a ten-year-old named Max finds himself at a summer camp run by a shady business mogul who is looking to turn a profit.
Max will have to find a way to survive what the camp has to offer as he tries to escape and get home.
Check out the teaser trailer for Camp Camp, which is slated for a Summer 2016 release below.
Red vs. Blue Season 13 saw the end of “The Chorus Trilogy” but there’s a lot more stories to be told in the RvB universe and Season 14 will take viewers to every corner and time of this world in a collection of stories instead of the season-long arcs you may be accustomed to.
Season 14 is set to premiere in May 2016.
Check out the official synopsis of the season below with the teaser trailer for Red vs. Blue Season 14 and let us know what you are looking forward to the most out of Rooster Teeth’s upcoming slate of animated series in the comments section below.
“The story of Red vs. Blue spans across thirteen hilarious, action-packed seasons, but there are still tales yet to be told. Rather than a season-long story arc, Season 14 of Red vs. Blue is a collection of stories that take place throughout the RvB universe and timeline, organized and presented by the wisecracking computer program, VIC. The stories of Season 14 will vary in length, style, and tone, and have been crafted in collaboration with writers and directors from all corners of the web including Freddie Wong of RocketJump fame, best-selling author Ernest Cline, Funhaus, Game Grumps, and (returning to their RvB roots) Rooster Teeth co-founders Burnie Burns and Matt Hullum.”
