Some new Royal Rumble 2016 rumors say the feud between Stardust and Arrow star Stephen Amell isn’t quite over yet. According to reports from PWInsider , new footage will be filmed between the two stars to hype up an eventual singles match.

In case you missed the earlier feud, Amell had appeared on RAW , getting involved in an altercation with Stardust. This eventually led to a tag-team match at SummerSlam 2015 where Amell, teaming up with Neville, defeated Stardust and King Barrett.

This appearance led Amell to be nominated, and win, the Slammy award for Celebrity Moment of the Year. Amell wasn’t able to attend the Slammy Awards ceremony, and Stardust showed up to steal away the trophy. Amell has since demanded the trophy get returned to him.

It’s now come to light that the two will both be making an appearance at the Heroes & Villains convention on Saturday in Secaucus, NJ. It’s believed that Amell and Stardust will be shooting footage while at the event.

This will (most definitely) all lead up to a return to the Squared Circle for Amell, but the real question is when? Because the Heroes & Villains convention is taking place on Saturday, it’s very unlikely that both will be in Orlando on Sunday for the Royal Rumble but the PPV could serve as a forum for airing the new footage to one of WWE’s biggest TV audiences of the year. Bringing celebrities out for large events like WrestleMania is common, so expect a build-up to April for the rematch between the two stars which could start this Sunday at the 2016 Royal Rumble

So what do you think? Are you excited to see Amell return to WWE? Who do you hope wins the rematch? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
