The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross has entered a new collaboration with The King of Fighters ’98. This is the second time these two games collaborated, and not only bringing back some of the fan favorite fighters, but also welcomes new heroes and new holy relics.
Terry Bogard and Iori Yagami are joining with the Sins for the first time. Returning to the game are fighters Mai Shiranui, Athena Asamiya, Omega Rugal and Kyo Kusanagi. Players can also look forward to seeing again the Ultimate Final Boss Omega Rugal stage along with The King of Fighters Britannia stage.
The King of Fighters ’98 arrives in the game courtesy of an update which also includes these features:
- New Holy Relics
- Six holy relics for collaboration heroes are added for the first time.
- Materials to craft them can be acquired from the collaboration content and events.
- 14-Day Attendance Event
- The event includes 10 7DS x KOF '98 Encore Collab Pick Up Ticket and other rewards.
- Heartthrob Athena's Gift Event
- Players can get new cosmetic items for heroes and an artifact card pack.
With this new update, players can acquire Mai Shiranui for free. There’s also an extra 10 10 7DS x KOF '98 Encore Collab Pick Up Ticket that can be acquired when completing all missions in the special events.
In celebration of this new update, there are also events available that can help players grow faster. For example, players can enhance their heroes by using less hero enhance potion. They can even get more rewards from salvage equipment through the probability-up event.
Players also get to enjoy the stage with only a half of stage stamina, which should support faster growth. Further, Player Rank is now expanded to Level 90.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is available on Android and iOS. It’s based on The Seven Deadly Sins manga and anime. The game features at least 150 characters, 200 costumes, and 200 cutscenes. The game is a treat for fans as characters are voiced by the original Japanese voice actors. Released back in March 2020, it has since exceeded 40 million cumulative downloads.
