Sims will get their own Instagram when The Sims 4: Dine Out game pack releases June 7. Dubbed ‘Simstagram,’ Sims can post their food selfies and be awarded new moodlets. The Sims dev team tweeted a screenshot showing off the new interaction.

Sims may receive the ‘Photo Hipster’ moodlet, +1 Happy which lasts 3 hours. “It makes a Sim feel really hip to have a bunch of cool photos on Simstagram,” the description reads.

Food photography is one of the themes of Dine Out. All the pictures you’ve taken of your Sims’ meals will be added to your inventory. Decorate your home and restaurants with beautiful pictures of all the ‘experimental’ dishes your Sims have tasted. After tasting, your foodie Sims can recreate the dishes in the comfort of their own home.

We spotted a Sims food critic lingering in the first Dine Out trailer, but he's not just your ordinary NPC. With a 5-star rating at stake, it'll be your job as the owner/manager to schmooze guests and give them the best dining experience possible. If you’ve got a 5-star restaurant, your Sim will be the talk of the town, which most likely means more money in your pocket.
