Steam just released its yearly list of best performing games. The list contains the top 12 games that had the highest gross revenue. Some are free-to-play like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, DOTA 2, and Destiny 2.
Two of the 12 games were indie titles that made some serious waves in the gaming industry and Twitch. They were Among Us and Fall Guys. A few games were expected by everyone. Both of the recent Rockstar titles, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto 5 made the list. This year’s behemoth, Cyberpunk 2077, was widely successful, even with all the technical issues.
ID Software’s critically acclaimed game, Doom Eternal was also a financial success. Two games came as a surprise, Monster Hunter World and Rainbow Six Siege. Both games have been receiving post-launch support for quite a while now. The list below mentions all the 12 games. Keep in mind that they are mentioned in random order.
