Someone really screwed up over at Valve, and you do not want to make Gabe Newell angry . This morning, someone on reddit posted the details of the Steam Summer Sale event. The sale starts on June 24 and ends July 4, and the image leaked specifically mentions that this information is confidential. The image also has Russian dates, signifying that it was most likely leaked by a game company or third party, and not someone at Valve.
Steam sales are still kind of a big deal; saving money on the latest and hottest games is no laughing matter. I still have the whole Total War series sitting on my laptop from last year’s big event sale. Still, I can’t wait to see what crazy discounts they might be offering. I’ve been avoiding buying ARK: Survival Evolved because I just can’t see myself really getting into it. If the game is half off though, that might persuade me to dig a little deeper into my coin purse.
Last year the Steam Summer Sale took place from June 11 to June 22, so this year’s dates don’t seem too out of the ordinary. Still, we don’t know with 100 percent certainty that these dates are real, so get your wallets ready, but don’t open them just yet.
