Fans of Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town should be happy to know that the game is now available at the Epic Games Store. This launch comes just as the franchise wraps up the celebration of its 25th anniversary.
Like most of the games in the franchise, Friends of Mineral Town has players trying to bring back their grandfather’s farm to its former glory and interacting with inhabitants of the nearby town. The game was first released on Game Boy Advance in 2003. A remake was released on Nintendo Switch in 2019. A version for PC through Steam was made available in 2020. In October 2021, the game was launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

In addition to the launch on the Epic Games Store, there’s also news on another Story of Seasons game. A free content update has arrived for Pioneers of Olive Town and it’s set to make this seaside community even livelier.
One of the things that Update 1.1.0 introduced to the game is “Spirit Quests.” This one has the protagonist serve as a medium between townsfolk and Sprites. Completing requests hands out rewards like fresh looks and handy upgrades.
Players also have the chance to deepen their relationship with their family through new post-marriage event scenes.
