Activision and the Guitar Hero Live crew are actively updating its game and GHTV with new songs, live footage and music videos.

But this is the first extensive update for Guitar Hero Live since its launch and will include a ton of new content including new Premium Shows on GHTV from the likes of Black Veil Brides, Blink-182 and others.

By the end of the year, more than 70 new songs will be added to the platform and accessible by all players. In celebration of the new content, Activision is giving all Guitar Hero Live players free on-demand access to the entire GHTV catalogue throughout the whole weekend, starting Friday at 7 a.m. EST.

Here’s the list of new songs and content coming to Guitar Hero Live and GHTV:

Black Veil Brides Premium Show, which includes playable footage from the band’s live concert DVD “Alive and Burning,” will be live on Friday, Nov. 6. Three of the songs from the DVD will be playable in GHTV, including “Heart of Fire (Live)," “Fallen Angels (Live)” and “In the End (Live).”

Legendary Headliners Premium Show, including “Monster” by Paramore, “Sugar, We’re Goin Down” by Fall Out Boy and “First Date” by Blink-182 is live now.

Pop Goes GHTV Premium Show, featuring “Chocolate” by The 1975, “Believer” by American Authors and “Budapest” by George Ezra is live now.

To access these premium shows, players can complete the in-game challenge of achieving at least three star on three different tracks in the GHTV channels or in the catalogue. By playing the Premium Shows, you have a chance to earn in-game prizes or extra content to customize your player card or highways to show off your skills.

After a Premium Show ends, the songs will be added to the on-demand catalogue and they will enter the regular channel rotation.

And while we are on the topic of new music, songs and videos from Judas Priest, Iggy Pop, Bully, Leon Bridges, Biffy Clyro, Weezer, Rival Sons, St. Vincent, Alice in Chains, System of a Down , Bring Me the Horizon and many more are expected in the coming weeks.
