Since the announcement that Pokken Tournament was coming to Wii U consoles in 2016, not many details have been given regarding the Pokemon/Tekken mashup . And today...that will remain the same but there is a snazzy new trailer that shows more gameplay from the fighting game.

In the latest Pokken Tournament gameplay trailer, we see the announced fighters in action. Nothing much more than we’ve seen in previous trailers but the new Pokken Tournament trailer reiterates how it is now in arcades across Japan and instead of a fightstick you are using a controller.

This controller is very similar to the Wii U Gamecube controller, which had many people believing it was coming to Nintendo’s console from the start.

Dave and Buster’s are also having the Pokken Tournament arcade game at participating establishments so you can get your hands on the fighting game there as well.

But enough babble, take a look at the latest Pokken Tournament gameplay trailer below.

At the end of the new trailer, they announced that for Halloween there will be two new support Pokemon that will be added to arcades. Ninetails and Mismagius will be added to the support roster and a new stage will be added.

It’ll be fun to see if once Pokken Tournament is released worldwide on the Wii U that Nintendo continues to do little events that coincide with holidays. With so many Pokemon to choose from, the possibilities are there.

So what do you think of the new Pokken Tournament trailer? Who do you want to see join the roster, hopefully, in the future? Sound off in the comments section below.
