Remember when Paul Heyman appeared on Stone Cold Steve Austin’s podcast and the two industry giants spoke about the good ol’ days and whatnot? Remember how toward the end of the podcast the two had what seemed like a heated conversation about Brock Lesnar, which seemed like a “work” for an Austin/Brock Lesnar match at WrestleMania 32?
It was pretty believable and had wrestling fans imagining Stone Cold Steve Austin returning to the ring. With WrestleMania 32 being in Austin’s home state of Texas, it would be a perfect venue for the return of the rattlesnake.
And some people really believe that Brock Lesnar ’s appearance on the Stone Cold podcast on Oct. 19 is a “work” to lead into the match at WrestleMania 32.
“People in the company believe everything is a work,” Dave Meltzer reported on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio , “There are smart guys who expect it.”
With Brock Lesnar’s feud with the Undertaker ending on Hell in a Cell, and Seth Rollins set to hold onto the championship belt for a while it seems the mayor of Suplex City will have to feud with another WWE legend.
Brock Lesnar’s appearance on the Stone Cold Podcast has been highly publicized as part of Lesnar’s ‘Go to Hell Tour’ and the Beast will be on Monday’s RAW which takes place in Dallas. A slew of WWE legends are also supposed to make an appearance on the RAW in Dallas including Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair and Steve Austin (depending on who you believe ).
But one thing is for certain, and that is Lesnar is going to appear on the Stone Cold Podcast immediately following RAW in Dallas so be sure to check it out on the WWE Network when RAW finishes.
