Monday Night RAW was quite the explosive show last night, and we now have a number of confirmed matches for WrestleMania 32.
By far the most insane thing to happen last night was the return of Shane McMahon. Vince’s son returned to demand he gain control of RAW from his sister Stephanie. Vince agreed, on the condition that Shane win a Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania 32 against The Undertaker.
Um… what?
We already knew about the main event from Fastlane, but now we have two other matches confirmed. The card is as follows:
Main event match between Triple H and Roman Reigns
Hell in a Cell match between Shane McMahon and The Undertaker
No Holds Barred match between Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose
Now on to the predictions for the remaining card. There are a few factors we do know, like The Rock being involved in some sort, but everything from here on is just a guess.
There’s going to be some sort of Divas match, probably for the belt
Hopefully this turns into a three-way match between Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Charlotte. They’ve certainly been teasing a Sasha/Becky alliance for a while now, and seeing them both take on Charlotte for the belt would be amazing.
The Rock is going to be involved in something, perhaps just the main event
We know The Rock is coming back to WrestleMania, but we have no clue what he’s doing. It’s highly likely, given his status now as a highly-paid actor, that he will not actually wrestle. This means he will likely just be in somebody’s corner, or will maybe be a guest referee. He is related to Roman Reigns, after all.
There will most likely be some sort of tag team match, possibly a debut for Enzo and Cass
The Tag Team belt has been pretty stagnant on New Day. As much as the crowd clearly loves New Day, the possibility of them getting stale and complacent grows with each week. A new feud with a high-profile group would be just what they need to keep being amazing. And Enzo and Cass can hang with the New Day when it comes to attitude and mic skills, the other tag teams in the WWE cannot.
An Intercontinental title match, probably between Kevin Owens and AJ Styles
Both Owens and Styles are clearly on the rise in the WWE, and both don’t have a WrestleMania match booked yet. Teases for a feud have already started on Twitter, so hopefully these two get paired off together. Would be nice to see Sami Zayn get into the mix, too.
There will probably be a return of the Andre the Giant Memorial 30-man Battle Royal
We’ve seen the Battle Royal in the past few WrestleManias, so a return is likely. Expect all the bottom-card talent to be involved here, such as the Social Outcasts, Tyler Breeze, and more. The last two winners were Cesaro and Big Show, neither of whom has gone onto to anything significant in the WWE. Maybe this year’s winner can inject some relevancy into the event?
